  1. Apply to your nearby IELTS Center to sit.

Search on search engine certainly you get the website of nearest IELTS center from where you obtain a contact number and upcoming test date.

  1. Further, you have to download the application form from the official site or you can ask for a favor from your nearest IELTS Center if the center would mail you one out to you.

  2. According to your need choose the version precisely while deciding what date will be suitable for you to take the test and fill out the application form.

  3. Further, Send your application with 2 passport size pictures and the fees to the test center which you chose to attend the test.

Date :

  1. Once the application form will have been submitted then you’ll get a confirmation letter with the date, time, and some instructions.

  2. Make sure to bring the same id on test day which you put on your application form.

Wondering What to do on D-Day?

Many have butterflies one day before the examination so, first of all, be relaxed and take good sleep and the very morning have some yummy food.

Things which can’t take under the test center premises are your belongings and mobile phone, if you carry them then there must be one specified area where you can leave them.

Take your same id card, which you fill in the application form as it will be checked on your arrival.

The sequence of examination is listening, reading, and then writing(I’ll give you a proper overview of those subsets as well in my next blog).

Once you invigilator will state that the test has started then no talk is allowed; Moreover, While giving the test if you’ll have any doubt, you can raise your hand and clear your doubt with an invigilator.

After EXAM :

The result will be out 13th day after your exam which means within 2 weeks you’ll get the result. To collect results you have to go to the test center as it cannot provide results over the phone or via fax or email.

You don’t get the certificate after taking IELTS conversely test report form with the result and only one copy of it so be careful; However, keep in mind that you can request that additional copies (up to a maximum of five) be sent to the organization that asked your results (university, immigration, etc.)
